The "LAB MILL II" is a successor model of the portable laboratory grinder "LAB MILL," which comes standard with a large mill cup (processing capacity of 200mL), a small mill cup (processing capacity of 50mL), and a tea cup (processing capacity of 30mL), allowing for differentiation based on processing capacity. Some parts, such as the mill cups, are common with the previous product (OML-1). Please refer to the product catalog for compatibility of each part. With a rotation speed of 20,000rpm and a power output of 235W, this high-power device creates finely ground samples of tablets, grains, and herbs in an extremely short time. By replacing with separately sold disposable containers and disposable bases, it is also possible to perform cryogenic grinding using dry ice. Raw solid materials (MAX 10mm) are continuously fed between two vertically rotating disks, where they are crushed to sizes ranging from a few millimeters to several hundred micrometers through mutual grinding and shearing action. The particle size of the processed material is adjusted according to the spacing between the disks. 【Features】 1) The use of specially structured disks allows for a relatively sharp particle size distribution in the processed products. 2) The adjustment of disk spacing is easy and can be finely tuned. 3) Various materials for the disks can be selected according to the intended use.
