The prism sheet "GTL5000 and GTL6000 series" is an optical film for liquid crystal displays that features micron-sized prism patterns on its surface. It possesses optical characteristics that enhance light-gathering performance and alter the direction of incident light due to the lens effect of the prisms. It has been adopted in various applications, including liquid crystal TVs, computer monitors, car navigation systems, as well as sign lighting and automotive meters. The optical performance suitable for specific applications can be selected by combining the prism apex angle, back surface shape, and film thickness.
