Carbon fiber (dry/wet nozzle)
Used as an acrylic precursor for the production of high-strength, high-modulus carbon fibers.
Carbon fibers (dry and wet nozzle) have superior strength and elasticity compared to carbon fibers produced by the wet spinning method, making them widely used as acrylic precursors for the manufacture of high-strength and high-elasticity carbon fibers. They are utilized in a wide range of applications, including structural materials for aerospace and industrial fields, as well as in sports and leisure sectors. The dry and wet spinning method involves directing the polymer ejected from the nozzle into a gas stream and then immediately guiding it into a coagulation bath to solidify. The nozzle size tends to increase depending on the spinning conditions, and using precious metals for the material can lead to increased costs, so relatively inexpensive stainless steel is commonly used.
