Biologically safe low-residue fiber 'Superwool XTRA'

Maximum operating temperature 1450℃. Excellent heat resistance and alkali resistance! In particular, its durability against alkaline components surpasses that of conventional ceramic fibers!

The Super Wool series is a high-temperature insulation fiber developed by Morgan Advanced Materials. Since 2015, it has been in high demand as an alternative to RCF (Refractory Ceramic Fiber), which became subject to regulation by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and is used in high-temperature applications such as the steel industry. "Super Wool XTRA" has thermal resistance properties equivalent to RCF1400 and meets the needs of a wider range of fields as a "biocompatible low-residual fiber" that can be used in high-temperature environments. 【Features】 ■ Achieves a maximum operating temperature of 1450°C ■ Usable in a wide range of industrial fields due to excellent thermal resistance properties ■ Higher melting point than conventional AES fibers ■ Excellent durability against external components (especially alkaline components) ■ Obtained an exemption certification regarding carcinogenic classification from Fraunhofer ITEM in Germany *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Exempt from carcinogenic classification! High safety fire-resistant fiber! 【*Free samples available】

Compliance with REACH regulations! Heat resistance over 1000°C! Cost reduction through insulation and weight reduction of equipment.

Products made with Superwool, a refractory fiber, are excluded from the EU carcinogenic classification and can be exported without issues even under the distribution regulations for Refractory Ceramic Fibers (RCF) (REACH regulations). With a heat resistance of over 1000°C, it can be applied not only for fire protection in ships and buildings but also for insulation in industrial furnaces, with proven results in annealing furnaces in the steel industry. Additionally, improvements in manufacturing technology have increased the specific surface area of the fibers and reduced high-temperature thermal conductivity by 20%, allowing for even greater insulation and lightweight properties compared to conventional RCF and bio-soluble fibers. Even if the work handling regulations for RCF being considered by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare are applied, using Superwool can reduce the need for large-scale investment in dust collection equipment. *Inquiries from Ipros only! Free samples available! 【Features】 ■ Proven track record as a raw material for brake pads, heat-resistant adhesives, and environmental purification filters! ■ Top-class global market share in the bio-soluble fiber market! ■ Certification of health safety by international organizations. Excluded from the EU carcinogenic classification! *For more details, please contact us or download and view the catalog.
