Introducing a processing example of "TOMBO No.9096" manufactured by Nichias Corporation!

We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured a flange gasket from a PTFE soft gasket "TOMBO No.9096" (thickness 5mm) based on the customer's drawing. The processing details include creating a ring shape with an outer diameter of φ170mm and an inner diameter of φ114mm, with six φ12mm bolt holes drilled at a P.C.D. of 150mm. We would like to introduce a case where a frame-shaped gasket was produced from graphite-treated glass cloth "D5400" with a thickness of 3.2mm, based on the customer's drawing. The size is 300mm × 350mm with a width of 45mm, and the processing involved drilling 14 bolt holes with a diameter of 15mm. Using our water jet cutting machine, we achieved high precision cutting directly from CAD data. The glass cloth has been rubber-coated and further treated with graphite on the surface to prevent burning onto the flange, resulting in a non-asbestos heat-resistant gasket. We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured 18 small-diameter gaskets (outer diameter φ80mm × inner diameter φ15mm) for exhaust systems from the glass cloth gasket "D5400" with a thickness of 3.2mm, based on the customer's drawings. Using our water jet cutting machine, we directly cut from CAD data, precisely minimizing fiber fraying. D5400 is a gasket made by applying natural rubber to glass cloth and molding it.
