■Overview of Processing Example Product Name: TOMBO No.9007-LC Long Hole Processed Gasket / Dimensions: 25W×86L×t2mm, Long Holes 11×20 (2 locations), R12.5 / This processing example uses a PTFE-based gasket material with excellent creep resistance and features two small diameter long holes in a custom shape. It was manufactured as a sealing component for piping equipment in chemical plants. The small diameter long holes were cut with high precision using water jet processing, minimizing thermal deformation. Complex shapes were achieved in a short delivery time without compromising the properties of the PTFE material. ■Product Features TOMBO No.9007-LC is a gasket that incorporates silica into PTFE to improve creep resistance at high temperatures. It is less prone to deformation compared to conventional PTFE and has excellent chemical resistance, but it cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid or strong alkalis. It is suitable for sealing areas in chemical plants where deformation or loosening due to heat is a concern.

"Thermiculite#866" is a sheet-like gasket primarily made of vermiculite, treated with special chemical agents and molded with an inorganic binder, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000°C. Since its composition consists entirely of inorganic materials, it does not generate reducing gases like glass seals.
