Where are microorganisms hiding? Please quantify the cleanliness after washing and use it for the detection, indexing, and monitoring of microorganisms.
ATP exists in all living organisms (cells). Of course, it is also present in microorganisms (excluding viruses). Therefore, it does not necessarily originate only from microorganisms. Generally, the amount of ATP is an indicator of contamination, and a higher value indicates a higher likelihood of microbial presence. Measuring ATP does not immediately reduce risk. By conducting tests to determine ATP levels, one can understand the degree of contamination, which means the potential presence of microorganisms, leading to risk reduction through disinfection and sterilization products.
