TFG450 (Steel Substitute Material) - Achieves hardness of HRc53 or higher through frame hardening - Compatible with cutting tool materials up to 590MPa class at a lower cost than FCD - Good chromium plating properties - Established surface hardening treatment technology for ultra-high tensile applications FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using polystyrene, and the product is formed by embedding this foam model in a sand mold and replacing it with molten metal. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and enables the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also achievable with the original (steel substitute) material.
