Introduction case study 1 of the induction lamp: Indoor lighting in a gymnasium.

Introducing a case of implementing "electrode-less lamps," which are gaining attention as an alternative to mercury lamps, in a gymnasium!

The "electrode-less lamp," which is gaining attention as a third option to replace LED lights when switching from mercury lamps, has a completely different structure from traditional bulbs that use a filament. Since it has no electrodes, it offers a long lifespan and a gentle brightness. This page introduces examples of replacing existing mercury lamps with "electrode-less lamps." 【Replacement Details】 ○ Replacing 13 existing mercury lamps used for indoor lighting in the gymnasium with next-generation electrode-less lamps. ○ Mercury lamps 400W × 13 units → Electrode-less lamps 200W × 13 units 【Features and Benefits of Electrode-less Lamps】 ○ Long lifespan (approximately 9 times longer than mercury lamps) ○ Energy-saving and high efficiency ○ High color rendering ○ Maintenance-free ○ 5-year manufacturer warranty for peace of mind For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

[Case Study 3 of Electrode-less Lamp] Company Y, Large Factory

We would like to introduce a case where "electrode-less lamps," which are gaining attention as an alternative to mercury lamps, were implemented in the large factory of Company Y!

We would like to introduce a case study of the installation of "electrode-less lamps" at Company Y's large factory. The "electrode-less lamp," which is gaining attention as a third option to replace mercury lamps alongside LEDs, has a completely different structure from traditional bulbs that use filament. Since it has no electrodes, it offers a long lifespan and a gentle brightness. Before installation, there were 32 units of 700W mercury lamps, with a total power consumption of 24.0 kW. After installing 17 units of TL8-400E (400W) electrode-less lamps, the total power consumption was reduced to 7.14 kW. The installation position was changed from direct ceiling mounting at 15 meters to direct wall mounting at 7 meters, angled 30 degrees downward. 【Implementation Effects】 [Before Installation] ○ 32 units of 700W mercury lamps (total power consumption: 24.0 kW) ○ Installation position: direct ceiling mounting ○ Installation height: 15 meters [After Installation] ○ 17 units of TL8-400E (400W) (total power consumption: 7.14 kW) ○ Installation position: direct wall mounting ○ Installation height: 7 meters, angled 30 degrees downward For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Case Study 4 of Electrode-less Lamp Introduction: Parking Lot of a Skating Rink in Kanagawa Prefecture

Introducing the case of implementing "electrode-less lamps," which are gaining attention as an alternative to mercury lamps, in the parking lot of a skating rink in Kanagawa Prefecture!

We would like to introduce a case where "electrode-less lamps" were installed in the Kanagawa Skate Link parking lot. The "electrode-less lamp," which is gaining attention as a third option to replace mercury lamps with LEDs, has a completely different structure from traditional bulbs that use filament. Since it has no electrodes, it offers a long lifespan and gentle brightness. We replaced two existing mercury lamps used for outdoor lighting in the parking lot with the next-generation electrode-less lamp "SAKUGEN." Near the lighting pole, the illumination increased from 5.1Lx to 94.1Lx. 【Implementation Effects】 ○ Mercury lamps 600W × 2 units → GT2-250E 250W × 2 units [Illuminance Measurement] ○ Measurement location near the lighting pole: 5.1Lx → 94.1Lx ○ Measurement location 1: 24.5Lx → 27.0Lx ○ Measurement location 2: 11.7Lx → 15.0Lx ○ Measurement location 3: 13.1Lx → 21.5Lx ○ Measurement location 4: 31.3Lx → 58.4Lx For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Suitable for switching from mercury lamps! A collection of comparison photos between electrodeless lamps and mercury lamps.

Switching from mercury lamps is not just about LED! We are currently offering a free collection of case studies featuring comparison photos from various locations where it has been implemented!

This document includes comparison images of electrodeless lamps with mercury lamps and high-pressure sodium lamps. The "electrodeless lamp," which is gaining attention as a third option to replace LED when switching from mercury lamps, has a completely different structure from traditional light bulbs with filament structures. Since it has no electrodes, it is a lamp with a long lifespan and gentle brightness. It is noted for its power consumption and electricity costs being less than half that of mercury lamps, as well as its ability to provide continuous lighting for 100,000 hours. This document was created based on the voices of those who are curious about how the brightness compares when actually switching. It clearly summarizes before-and-after photos of various case studies, such as the Kuki City Washinomiya Sports Center and the Yokohama City futsal court. [Contents (excerpt)] ■ Factories ■ Batting centers ■ Kuki City Washinomiya Sports Center ■ Yokohama City futsal court ■ Highway tunnels ■ Large billboards *Please check the document via PDF download.

[Case Study 6 of Electrode-less Lamp Introduction] Dairy Barn

By using electrodeless lamps for barn lighting, milk production increases! Widely adopted by dairy farmers and factories in the United States!

A professor at Hiroshima University Graduate School (Animal Husbandry Management) has been researching the effects of barn lighting on cows since 2013, focusing on the hormone "cortisol," which is secreted when cows experience stress (often referred to as the "stress hormone" because its secretion increases rapidly when the body is under stress). The "electrode-less lamp" is considered to be close to sunlight among lighting devices and is thought to be a factor that does not cause stress. Additionally, this product has two types of light sources, with the "circle type" serving as a replacement for mercury lamps and capable of wide-area illumination. 【Features of the Electrode-less Lamp】 ■ Circle Type - Compatible with mercury lamps up to 1000W class - Provides wider illumination than the bulb type - Low-frequency type (adopted in the United States) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Pupil lumen

A new standard for lighting evaluation has already been established in Europe and the United States, considering the state of human pupils!

We would like to introduce "PLM: Pupil Lumen." Recent research has shown that the traditional brightness standard "Lux" is not directly related to human visual capability. Instead, a new concept called "Pupil Lumen (Plm)," which takes into account the state of a person's pupil, has begun to emerge as a new standard for lighting evaluation in Europe and the United States. [Overview (Excerpt)] - The diameter of the human pupil varies between 2 to 8 mm, resulting in an area that can change by up to 16 times. - In bright environments, the pupil constricts, reducing the amount of light entering the eye. - Conversely, in areas without strong light, the pupil dilates, allowing more light to enter the eye. As a result, a phenomenon occurs where the environment feels brighter than the Lux measurement indicates. - The calculation method for pupil lumen involves applying a correction factor (S/P Ratio Correction Factor) to each lighting source. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
