Case study of non-electrode lamp installation: Une Iron Works Co., Ltd.
Ensuring adequate illumination in the workspace by illuminating from the side! Introducing examples of improving the site environment before and after sunset.
We would like to introduce a case where "Eco Taro" was installed at Une Iron Works Co., Ltd., which is engaged in the design, manufacturing, and construction of disaster prevention products. The company reported that while there were no issues with workability during the day due to natural light from skylights, workability became poor around sunset (average illuminance of 90–150 lx), leading to a request for improvement of the site environment. The average illuminance, which was 90–150 lux before the replacement, improved to approximately 250–280 lux after the replacement (perceived as 380–430 lux). There was an impression that "the overall brightness became more uniform," allowing for consistent illuminance throughout the factory. 【Case Overview】 ■ Building Exterior: Height 16–8 m ■ Building Area: Approximately 1130 m² ■ Construction Details (completed in a 2-day work process) ・Removal of existing lighting and installation of Eco Taro, a non-electrode lamp ・New wiring for additional lighting fixtures and installation of new switches ・Disposal of existing lighting *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
