New type of paint naAno excels in insulation, condensation prevention, and heat shielding.
A hybrid formulation of hollow ceramic balloons and porous silica, two low thermal conductivity materials. A new type of paint that excels in insulation, condensation prevention, and heat shielding functions.
The hollow ceramic balloon, used as thermal insulation and heat shielding material at the tip of space rockets, has a low thermal conductivity of 0.06 kW/mK and is a completely inorganic material that does not change even when mixed with paint. Additionally, porous silica boasts an even more astonishing low thermal conductivity of 0.012 kW/mK. The new type of paint, "naAno," is a hybrid formulation that balances these two materials. It comes in three types: insulation (for indoor use), condensation prevention, and heat shielding (for roofs and exterior walls), each developed with special performance to pinpointedly solve problems in their respective applications. Different types can also be layered, allowing for enhanced effects through combinations.
