Not just lightweight and strong! We are looking for applications for CFRP pipes with an outer diameter ranging from a minimum of 5mm to a maximum of 300mm, and a maximum length of 4m!
CFRP/Carbon Pipe??? Some may not be familiar with it.
―Various Characteristics of CFRP―
■Mechanical Properties: High strength, high elasticity, vibration damping
■Physical Properties: Low thermal expansion, dimensional stability, conductivity, high thermal conductivity, X-ray permeability
■Chemical Properties: Corrosion resistance, chemical resistance
The greatest feature of CFRP, as we at Graphite Design see it, is "carbon fiber = anisotropic material / changes in properties due to orientation," which is our area of expertise. By adjusting the grade, position, and angle of the carbon fibers, we can create pipes with various performances, not just lightweight pipes.
Since our establishment in 1989, we have applied the molding technology (sheet winding molding) developed in our golf shaft division to create patented CFRP circular pipes that can also be processed into polygonal pipes.
Currently, we are exploring new possibilities for CFRP pipes and are actively seeking new applications.
- Could it be used for this purpose?
- Could it be substituted in this area?

We would be grateful to take on new challenges together.
