Since the reading of the underground tank meter could not be done with the usual meter reading function, a method based on the number of lit lamps was used, allowing for threshold determination as shown in the attached document. Thresholds can be set for each frame, allowing for configurations such as defining a certain percentage as an abnormal value. Additionally, even with lighting, there may still be variations in brightness and shadows between day and night. It seems necessary to install something to enclose the meter or a roof-like structure for the meter. Another reason why reading outdoors is difficult is due to power supply issues. By using EasyInspector's "Meter Reading" function, it was possible to read measurement values from one location. Regarding the difference in light intensity, the image on the right can be read, but the left image is misreading a different part as the needle, resulting in an incorrect judgment. Creating a stable imaging environment for reading is crucial.

For the other three images, we determine pass or fail based on whether the color is detected when lit or not. However, I believe there is variability in how the lighting hits the upper and lower parts of the meter, so I think that illuminating the lower part, which tends to be darker, with bar lighting or similar would reduce misdetections. Since imaging conditions outdoors can be unstable due to factors like time of day and weather, it is crucial to establish a stable imaging environment. 【Inspection Settings and Results】 By using EasyInspector's "meter reading" function, we were able to determine two locations. In the left image, we were able to read the values, but it is necessary to verify what results will occur when the image points to values other than "2" or "8," or when the shape of the contents changes. The right image has a reading function for a rod-shaped meter, but in this case, the color difference is not very clear, resulting in a stringent setting value. If the brightness changes slightly, it is likely that the reading location will change. With some adjustments to the lighting, we might be able to relax the conditions a bit more.
