SentinelOne Implementation Case Study: SBS Holdings Inc.
Contributing to the acceleration of situation understanding! A case of establishing an IT environment that does not hinder growth strategies!
At SBS Holdings Inc., we have utilized signature-based EPP through pattern matching as an endpoint security measure for the entire group. However, after experiencing a large-scale security incident due to ransomware in 2017, there was a greater demand for stronger security measures across the group than ever before. It was then that we encountered the "SentinelOne Endpoint Protection Platform," which combines the functionalities of EPP and EDR. This has greatly contributed to reducing the risk of business opportunity loss during incidents. Previously, it took more than a day just to investigate and understand the situation using EPP and asset management logs, but now we can quickly assess the situation, including through managed services. [Challenges Before Implementation] ■ EPP based on pattern matching is insufficient as a new malware countermeasure. ■ Concerns about increased management burden and costs from operating both EPP and EDR. ■ A need for an environment that allows for efficient operational management, including responses to gray zone determinations. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
