Technical Documentation: AUTOSAR Development and Round-Trip Engineering
I will explain the information exchange and interoperability in architecture design environments and model-based design environments in five steps.
In the automotive industry, electronics development has always been carried out through iterative processes even before the advent of AUTOSAR. Throughout the project flow, changes and improvements to requirements, design modifications, and adjustments to architecture are made. AUTOSAR has standardized the specification format for describing various design assets, which has allowed for a clear definition of how to implement the steps in the development process. The AUTOSAR standard, supported by advanced tools, is used in various product development fields and has proven effective. In product development projects, achieving smooth data exchange between tools without losing design information is a challenge. In particular, interoperability between architecture design tools and model-based design tools is emphasized when developing functional software and individual software components. The design approach requires support for both top-down and bottom-up methods. *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data from the download section.*
