What is talc? 【Basic Knowledge】

Talc (mineral) is a mineral composed of magnesium hydroxide and silicate, and it is a type of clay mineral.

Talc is a soft mineral with a Mohs hardness of 1, represented by the chemical formula 4 SiO2 · 3 MgO · H2O, with components of SiO2 (58-62%), MgO (2-32%), H2O (4.5-5%), a specific gravity of 2.7-2.8, and a pH of 9-10. The main producing countries are China, India, North America, Brazil, and Pakistan. Its main applications include cosmetics such as foundation and baby powder, pharmaceuticals as excipients and lubricants, food additives like food coloring, and various industrial uses such as ceramic raw materials, paper fillers, paints, and plastics, where it is used in large quantities. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Synthetic Talc "SN-Talc"

Synthetic talc with uniform particle size and zero impurities!

"SN-Talc" is a synthetic talc with uniform particle size and zero impurities, produced through supercritical hydrothermal synthesis and organic modification. Talc (soapstone) is typically extracted as a natural mineral and has a wide range of industrial applications, including in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, electronic components, and paints. While China, India, and Pakistan are the main sources, it is difficult to achieve 0% impurities due to its natural mineral origin, and even with advancements in grinding technology, it is said to be impossible to produce a uniform particle size. [Features] - Shape: Uniform - Contaminants: 0% - Particle Size: Adjustable on a nanometer scale *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
