[Analysis Case] Nanoscale Physical Property Analysis of Tire (Silica-Filled Rubber) Cross-Section
We will introduce an example that visualizes the dispersion state of silica particles in tires and the bound rubber phase!
Due to the increasing focus on environmental issues, silica is widely used as a filler to achieve both low fuel consumption performance and improved grip performance in tires. However, enhancing tire performance requires control over the dispersion state of silica and the bound rubber phase. We present a case study using SPM (Scanning Probe Microscopy) for mechanical property mapping (PeakForce QNM) of commercial tires (silica-filled rubber), visualizing the dispersion state of silica particles and the bound rubber phase within the tire. [Case Overview] ■ Analysis Sample: Commercial Tire ■ Analysis Method: PeakForce QNM (Bruker Dimension Icon) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
