[Case Study] Electric Equipment Company F

Real Trouble: The digital signage is not working! The source of the noise was identified as the lighting fixtures!

The electrical equipment company, Company F, was responsible for electrical work at a certain terminal station and was in charge of the installation of digital signage using LCD displays. The construction was progressing smoothly as scheduled, but the digital signage experienced unexplained malfunctions and system crashes. In response, our company investigated whether noise was observed during malfunctions or if there were any nearby devices generating noise. It was determined that the source of the noise was coming from nearby lighting fixtures, so we proposed the introduction of a "Noise Cut Transformer" for the power supply of the lighting fixtures. After the introduction, the malfunctions of the digital signage completely ceased, allowing it to display beautiful images. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: Unexplained malfunctions and system crashes of digital signage ■ Product Introduced: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Effect: Malfunctions of the digital signage completely ceased *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Pharmaceutical Manufacturer C Research Institute

Unexplained stoppage of the centrifuge, what is its true nature? Here we present a case that achieved stable operation of research equipment!

At the C Research Institute, research and development of new drugs is underway, and many facilities are operational; however, there were issues occurring. It was speculated that the cause might be the deterioration of the power supply environment due to voltage fluctuations, but this remained merely a hypothesis, and we were troubled. Since there are various factors that can deteriorate the power supply environment, we first proposed the introduction of high-frequency noise countermeasure products that could be implemented at a low cost and provided a trial unit. When we attached a "Noise Cut Transformer" to the centrifuge to see if the situation would change, the issues that had occurred daily ceased entirely from the first day of implementation. Subsequently, we introduced the solution to the devices that had experienced issues, and those devices also stopped having problems, achieving stable operation of the research equipment. 【Case Summary】 ■ Problem: Unable to identify the cause of the issues ■ Proposal: High-frequency noise countermeasure products that can be implemented at a low cost ■ Introduced Product: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Result: Troubles resolved through high-frequency noise countermeasures ■ Conclusion: It is important to implement measures suitable for the factors causing disturbances that deteriorate the power supply environment. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] POS System Development Company A

Is it prohibited to use while charging? We will introduce cases where the cause was identified and the trouble was resolved!

Company A, a manufacturer of POS system development, has been focusing on the spread of tablet-type POS systems and has delivered them to many stores. However, recently, complaints have been received from newly supplied stores stating that "malfunctions occur and operations become impossible." Company A conducted investigations daily to resolve this issue, but identifying the cause proved difficult, leading to a prolonged period of uncertainty. Therefore, our company estimated that the conductive noise transmitted through the power line was entering the tablet via the charger, causing the trouble. We proposed a "Noise Cut Transformer" that could eliminate the noise from the power supply. After installation, the troubles completely disappeared, and normal operations were restored. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: Unable to operate while charging ■ Product Introduced: Noise Blocking Transformer "Noise Cut Transformer" ■ Effect: Troubles completely resolved *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-R3-J6

The latest three-phase model that improves noise reduction performance and considers safety and ease of use.

The "Noise Cut Transformer" improves noise attenuation performance, safety, and ease of use. It is a disturbance wave-blocking transformer. Focusing on the fact that various noise disturbances are caused in many environments by high-frequency noise below 150 kHz, which is not covered by major EMC standards such as the IEC 61000-4 series, we have generally enhanced the noise attenuation performance, particularly in the range of several tens to several hundred kHz. Additionally, not only the conductive parts such as terminals and coils but also the core part is enclosed in a case to prevent contact, making it safer to use.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-J

Decisive effect against noise leakage from inverters! It can also be widely used for other three-phase applications.

This is a "Noise Cut Transformer" developed to prevent malfunctions and communication disturbances caused by noise associated with the rapidly increasing use of "general-purpose inverters." Of course, it can also be used for other applications. The noise generated by conventional inverters has been difficult to sufficiently mitigate using LC filters and similar methods. This is due to the presence of a significant amount of noise in the frequency range below 100 kHz, where the effectiveness of the filter diminishes, as well as issues such as leakage current when using filters and the influence of grounding conditions and the impedance of power and load devices. The NCT-J is a trump card that can solve these problems all at once.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-I3

It is a low-cost model equipped with basic performance. It is very convenient when connecting loads such as measuring instruments and audio equipment via a plug.

This is a small, low-cost "Noise Cut Transformer" developed with a focus on general-purpose electronic devices for mass production and portable electronic devices. By utilizing a newly developed noise prevention mechanism (which has been patented), it effectively blocks normal mode noise across a wide frequency range that cannot be prevented by conventional isolation transformers or shielded transformers, thereby significantly improving the noise resistance of the connected devices. Additionally, its wideband common mode noise blocking capability protects the load devices from surges caused by induced lightning. In addition to standard voltage products, we can also produce units at your desired voltage through made-to-order production, allowing for replacement of the power transformer in the connected devices. Furthermore, it can eliminate the need for other noise prevention components such as power filters.

[Case Study] When the overseas compressor operates, a leakage current alarm is triggered.

I want you to clarify the cause of the alarm sounding! Here is an introduction to noise countermeasure examples!

Since it has already been confirmed by the customer that there are no abnormalities in the equipment's insulation, we considered another possibility. Generally, high-frequency noise is generated from the compressor. Typically, some noise reduction product is installed on the compressor to prevent the high-frequency noise generated from affecting surrounding equipment. Under normal circumstances, that noise reduction product should be able to sufficiently prevent the outflow of high-frequency noise. However, when several adverse conditions overlap, that noise reduction product can sometimes become a cause of high-frequency noise dispersion. Upon confirming with the customer, it was noted that a noise reduction product is also installed on the equipment's compressor, so we focused our investigation on the surrounding area. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
