[Logistics System Improvement Case] Toyota Mobility Parts Co., Ltd. Shizuoka Branch
Improving the working environment for operators with a focus on implementation! Achieving accurate and highly efficient inbound and outbound operations.
We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the automated warehouse for buckets, "Rack Sorter B," at Toyota Mobility Parts Co., Ltd. Shizuoka Branch. Due to the storage of heavy batteries on shelves, there were challenges related to the physical burden on workers and the long walking distance to the storage shelves. With the introduction of this system, we automated the inbound and outbound operations and also implemented manual assist devices and the electric roller lift "nanomover," which reduced the physical burden on workers. 【Key Points】 ■ Automation of inbound and outbound operations reduces heavy labor, enabling work regardless of gender or age. ■ Reduction of unnecessary walking leads to improved work efficiency. ■ Customization of a flexible inventory management system achieves accurate and highly efficient inbound and outbound operations. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
