I tried to verify the print speed of Form 4!

[Mitarepo] How fast is the print speed of the light curing 3D printer "Form 4"? | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products, based on the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 91, we examined how fast the printing speed of Formlabs' new 3D printer "Form 4" is by comparing it with the previous model, Form 3+. The newly launched SLA 3D printer "Form 4" by Formlabs has changed its unique printing method from the LFS method used in Form 3+ to a new method called LFD. This has significantly increased the printing speed! Hearing this, aren't you curious about how much faster it actually is? In this document, we created a common model for both Form 4 and Form 3+ and will introduce the differences in printing time when producing one piece versus ten pieces. *You can download the document using the button below.

I tried the open material mode!

[Mitarepo] Tried creating with Form 4×any resin material! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver helpful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. In Vol. 98, we challenged ourselves to create using the newly offered "Open Material Mode" from Formlabs. Formlabs has newly started licensing the "Open Material Mode," which allows for the use of any material for printing with the Form 4, further expanding the possibilities of creation! However, you might have questions about the actual user experience, such as "Can it print nicely?" or "Does it seem difficult to set up?" So this time, we used the weather-resistant resin "Fort Resin" to create a sample model! The materials' settings, configurations in Preform, and the appearance of the model after printing are explained with images in the documentation. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried printing with clear resin in Form 4!

[Mitarepo] [Form 4] I tried to see how transparent the latest SLA 3D printer's creations can be! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. In Vol. 88, we examined the differences in transparency of models created with Formlabs' new 3D printer "Form 4" compared to the previous model, Form 3+. Recently, we started selling Formlabs' latest SLA 3D printer, "Form 4." It adopts a unique LFD printing method that significantly reduces printing time without losing detail, and the materials have also been updated, allowing for higher functionality and cleaner prints! Naturally, what you're curious about is the "differences from the previous model," right? In this document, we created flat models using "Clear Resin V5" with the Form 4 and "Clear Resin V4" with the previous model, Form 3+. We will introduce the differences in model transparency under three conditions, along with actual photos! *You can download the document from the button below.

Preventing load and molding troubles for the 【Marsgo】 model! Form4

Introducing the mechanism of shaping that achieves high speed and low load! We will explain the amazing features of the 3D printer "Form 4"!

Marsgo is a document that picks up the functions and features of various products and introduces the "amazing" aspects. This time, we will introduce the latest stereolithography 3D printer from Formlabs, the "Form 4." A major feature of the Form 4 is that its adoption of a new molding method has significantly shortened the molding speed. Not only that, but the Form 4 also utilizes an LPU (Laser Unit) and a resin tank with a soft film, which reduces the load on the model during the molding process. As a result, it can further improve print speed and prevent troubles during molding! The document provides a detailed explanation of the structure of the resin tank and the mechanism of load-free molding, along with images, so please take a look. *You can download the document from the button below.

I tried remote control and continuous modeling with Mita Repo [71] Form Auto!

【Mitarepo】Remote control of Form 3+!! Tried continuous molding with "Form Auto"!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product categories handled by System Create. In Vol. 71, we used the newly launched "Form Auto" expansion unit for the Form 3/Form 3+ from Formlabs to remotely print two models in succession. In offices, the installation space for 3D printers tends to be limited, but when you are in a different location, preparation, post-processing, and moving or waiting for the next print can be necessary. "Form Auto" automates the manual tasks associated with printing on the Form 3+, allowing for continuous printing, monitoring of operational status, and job management even when you are not nearby! "Can I check the printing status from anywhere?" "Can I stop the print or change the job order remotely?" We will explain the flow of remote operation and the state of the models in the bucket after the continuous printing is completed, along with actual images and operation screens. Mars Pro: Top-class print speed in light curing!! Form 4

Fastest printing with powerful light exposure?! Explaining the amazing features of the 3D printer "Form 4" | System Create

Marsgo is a document that highlights the features and characteristics of various products, showcasing what makes them "amazing!" This time, we will introduce the new product "Form 4," a light-curing 3D printer developed by Formlabs. It is a new light-curing 3D printer known for its high-quality modeling, capable of being used with a simple workflow, a wide range of materials, and producing high-resolution prints. The "Form 4" has increased its printing speed even further due to a change in the printing method! The ease of use remains unchanged, and a new high-output backlight unit has been introduced. By changing the way light is applied to a "surface" irradiation, it achieves an average high-speed modeling of 40mm/h across all materials. The document provides a detailed explanation of the structure of the printing method that enables high-speed modeling, accompanied by images, so please take a look. *You can download the document using the button below.

I tried making 36 parts using the height of Form 3L!

【Mita Repo】Created 36 parts all at once with Form 3L! I tried stacking the model to the maximum height of the print area!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product categories handled by System Create. The theme of Vol. 33 is "We tried making 36 parts utilizing the area height of the Form 3L!" The light-curing 3D printer "Form 3L" supports large-scale printing and has the largest build area among Formlabs 3D printers. This time, we focused on effectively utilizing its wide build area, particularly the "area height," by stacking multiple parts in the Z direction and challenging ourselves to print them all at once. Typically, when printing multiple items, they are arranged horizontally on the table, but with a little ingenuity, we stacked and arranged them in the height direction as well. We attempted to print a total of 36 parts of various sizes together! "How do you arrange the models in the Z direction?" "Can the models be printed properly even if they overlap vertically?" We will explain the actual flow of creating print data along with images of the completed models. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried creating a new material with Fuse 1 +30W!

[Mita Repo] Tried 3D printing the new powdered material 'Nylon 11CF' blended with carbon fiber using Fuse 1+ 30W! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 54, we created test pieces using the new material "Nylon 11CF" for the SLS 3D printer "Fuse 1 +30W" and examined its dimensional reproducibility. Carbon fiber reinforced resin, which achieves excellent strength and heat resistance while being lightweight, is utilized in various applications across industries and is also expanding in the 3D printing industry. In this context, Formlabs announced the carbon fiber reinforced material "Nylon 11CF" as a new material for the SLS 3D printer "Fuse 1 +30W." Therefore, we quickly created test pieces used for inspection upon arrival. Are there differences compared to other materials? How accurately can dimensions be reproduced? We explain questions and points of interest regarding Nylon 11CF, along with images and measurement results. *You can download the materials from the button below.
