3D Printer Case Studies Introduction!

3D scanning allows for creation without the need for drawings! It is possible to create using carbon materials, which have high strength and are recommended for prototyping machine parts.

Okuno Precision Industry has introduced an excellent 3D printer capable of creating parts with high strength and versatility. It can turn CAD designs into beautiful finished products in just a few hours. Additionally, the FARO 8-Axis QuantumM FaroArm V2 has been implemented, providing a comprehensive contact/non-contact measurement solution that dramatically reduces work time and simplifies measurement and scanning tasks. 3D printing can begin by selecting reinforced materials and plastics tailored to specific applications, reducing time and effort while minimizing repetitive design work. Furthermore, parts can be used immediately after the completion of the printing process. Since 3D scanning allows for creation without the need for drawings, production is possible even without them. Moreover, it is capable of forming with carbon materials, which offer higher strength than resin and are recommended for prototypes of mechanical parts.

I tried structuring a lattice and creating it with a 3D printer!

[Mitarepo] Tried shelling and lattice structuring a 3D model and printing it with powder molding! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver helpful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. "VoxelDance Additive" is software that can complete various modeling preparations, such as data editing and support generation before 3D printing, all in one package. It also has robust CAD functions for data repair, cutting, and joining, making advanced 3D model editing very easy. The trending lattice structuring can also be done in three steps! This time, to verify how a model structured with lattice using the editing functions of "VoxelDance Additive" is actually printed, we tried modeling it with the powder sintering 3D printer "Fuse1 +30W." We will introduce points of interest such as, "What is the impact of lattice structuring on modeling?" and "What is the inside like?" along with data, completed models, and CT scan images. *You can download the materials from the button below.

ABS, 3D printer

Create a simple layered model! Meetings can be held while looking at the product model.

We would like to introduce the 'ABS, 3D Printer' handled by Ito Wood Pattern Manufacturing Co., Ltd. With our product, we can create a simplified layered model from a 3D model provided by the customer, allowing for meetings while reviewing the product model. This helps to resolve concerns, enabling the consideration of wood pattern manufacturing, casting plans, and processing jigs or clamps, thus reducing lead time. Additionally, due to its higher hardness compared to conventional layered resin models, assembly is possible, and we can also produce movable parts as a single unit, similar to bearings. 【Features】 ■ Can resolve concerns ■ Reduces lead time ■ Higher hardness than conventional layered resin models allows for assembly ■ Can produce movable parts as a single unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

I tried making 36 parts using the height of Form 3L!

【Mita Repo】Created 36 parts all at once with Form 3L! I tried stacking the model to the maximum height of the print area!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product categories handled by System Create. The theme of Vol. 33 is "We tried making 36 parts utilizing the area height of the Form 3L!" The light-curing 3D printer "Form 3L" supports large-scale printing and has the largest build area among Formlabs 3D printers. This time, we focused on effectively utilizing its wide build area, particularly the "area height," by stacking multiple parts in the Z direction and challenging ourselves to print them all at once. Typically, when printing multiple items, they are arranged horizontally on the table, but with a little ingenuity, we stacked and arranged them in the height direction as well. We attempted to print a total of 36 parts of various sizes together! "How do you arrange the models in the Z direction?" "Can the models be printed properly even if they overlap vertically?" We will explain the actual flow of creating print data along with images of the completed models. *You can download the materials from the button below.
