Additionally, it has been designed to simulate the characteristics of the grid, such as power conditioners (PV inverters), inverter power supply, and UPS. It can support both sink and source applications from the unit under test (UUT). In this case, the source current detection circuit of the UUT senses surplus power, which is then reused (regenerated) back into the grid.
