[Information] To solve problems caused by the "heat" of coils and motors.

Analysis of the skin effect and magnetic field distribution of a linear coil, as well as measures to prevent irreversible demagnetization of permanent magnets.

"To solve troubles caused by the 'heat' of coils and motors" is a document published by IDAJ. There are various approaches to resolving issues related to the 'heat' generated by coils and motors. Our company provides technology to determine heat generation through electromagnetic field analysis and to simulate temperature distribution through thermal fluid analysis. By understanding detailed temperatures, we believe we can provide hints for finding solutions to thermal problems. [Contents] ■ Skin effect and magnetic field distribution of stranded coils ■ Induction heating analysis ■ Electromagnetic-thermal fluid coupled analysis of motors ■ Optimization technology for efficient motor design *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Ground-Structure Coupled Seismic Analysis Software 'ACS SASSI'

Introducing a completed SSI seismic analysis tool in the nuclear structure project!

"ACS SASSI" is a seismic analysis software for ground-structure interaction (SSI) that operates on Windows OS, capable of linear-nonlinear and deterministic-probabilistic analyses. Development is still actively ongoing, providing a unique and powerful set of SSI analysis features based on the original SASSI code by a certain professor at the University of California. This product includes advanced SSI analysis capabilities for seismic design and probabilistic safety assessment of nuclear power plant structures. 【Features】 ■ Excellent operability ■ Visualization of various responses ■ Animation, bubble plots, and contour displays ■ Consideration of interactions between multiple structures (SSSI analysis) ■ Ability to handle coherence/incoherence analysis models ■ Calculation of ground impedance ■ Time history can be added/subtracted, and weighted superposition of response spectra or SRSS method can be used ■ Conversion of analysis models from ANSYS format to ACS SASSI format ■ V&V (Verification and Validation) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Reduction of molding defects and improvement of mold life through the introduction of CAE technology.

Improving molding efficiency by maintaining and managing the mold at the appropriate temperature and reducing solidification time!

We propose "reducing molding defects and improving mold lifespan through the introduction of CAE technology." It is possible to transfer technology after you have implemented the software, and if you provide input data, we can offer consulting services that output data on thermal deformation due to differences in linear expansion rates of individual components that make up the mold, external forces (clamping force), contact and friction between components, and creep predictions on the product side. We have included a case study where mold warpage was reduced by 29%. [Proposal Overview] ■ To further improve the accuracy of mold temperature predictions and product molding predictions, we propose fluid analysis (CFD) and optimization technologies. <Proposal 1> - Utilizing the open-source-based general-purpose CFD software "iconCFD" to achieve large-scale calculations at low cost. <Proposal 2> - Utilizing the world-class leading tool for general fluid analysis "ANSYS Fluent." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

CAE fatigue durability analysis software nCode DesignLife

Streamlining the CAE Fatigue Durability Evaluation Process

nCode DesignLife is an upfront design tool that can identify critical areas and calculate realistic fatigue life using finite element (FE) results for metals and composites. By stepping beyond simple stress analysis and simulating under actual load conditions, it helps avoid costly design changes and ensures that the design is neither insufficient nor excessive. DesignLife is equipped with advanced features such as welding, vibration, crack propagation, composite materials, thermal fatigue analysis, and virtual shaker simulations.

Screw compressor gauge 'SCORG'

SCORG is a measurement software for the design and analysis of screw compressors, expanders, pumps, and motors.

Our strength lies in the ability to generate meshes for various computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. For example, we can integrate with most commercial CFD solvers such as Simerics MP, Ansys CFX, and STAR-CCM+, as well as engineering software. We can create complex meshes for screw compressors without being limited by the solver. By using SCORG solely for the creation of complex meshes like those for two-axis screw pumps and compressors while still utilizing your familiar solver, you can significantly reduce the cumbersome effort involved in analysis. Additionally, you can conduct simulations leveraging existing know-how without having to learn a new solver, which greatly reduces both effort and costs compared to switching solvers. We also have a case study on fluid analysis (CFD) of a two-axis screw compressor that we presented at the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. Please contact us for more details.

[Today's ANSYS] Utilized for water flow simulation (LIXIL)

We would like to introduce an interview article with Mr. Manabu Umeda and Mr. Shinichi Sagara from LIXIL Corporation!

I would like to introduce information about how CAE and CFD are useful in the world, including interesting application examples, primarily through articles from the information magazine "ADVANTAGE" published by ANSYS, Inc. and ANSYS Japan Co., Ltd. This time, we will present an interview article with Mr. Manabu Umeda and Mr. Shinichi Sagara from LIXIL Corporation, who are utilizing flow analysis of toilet products in the design and development of new products. There are various fluid analysis tools available, but the reason for choosing ANSYS Fluent is that it can simulate products such as toilets and bathtubs, which are composed of curved surfaces. One of the benefits of introducing simulation is "visualization." Since ceramic toilets can only be visually inspected up to the point where water accumulates, it is not possible to see the condition of the drainage path. With simulation, it is possible to confirm the internal flow on the drainage side, allowing for appropriate measures to be taken based on simulation results, rather than relying solely on the intuition and experience of the designers. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
