[Case Study of Electronic Contract Service] Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company

The ability to accommodate various contract types was the deciding factor for implementation! It contributes to promoting remote work and accelerating digital transformation (DX).

We would like to introduce a case where Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, which engages in various life insurance underwriting and maintenance, asset management, and related services, has implemented the electronic contract service "WAN-Sign." Before the implementation, staff from each department had to carry the seal registration books and documents requiring the company seal, president's seal, and executive seals managed by their respective departments to the General Affairs Department to affix seals on contracts and other documents, resulting in an inconvenient workflow. As a result of the implementation, the need for in-person visits solely for the purpose of affixing seals on contracts has been eliminated, and with the transition to electronic contracts, lead times have been shortened. Additionally, since there is no need to affix revenue stamps, cost savings in that regard have also been achieved. [Case Overview] - Simplified management of complex seal affixing workflows for contracts requiring company seals in a remote environment. - Reduced burden on contract execution with group companies and business partners, accelerating DX strategy. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Press molding and mold deformation weakly coupled analysis ASU/ISTR

This is an introduction to press forming simulation that takes into account mold deflection using "ASU/ISTR" and "ASU/P-form."

In the current press forming simulation, the mold is treated as a rigid body, and deflection is not taken into account. However, during actual press processing, especially when forming high-strength steel plates, a very large load is applied, resulting in mold deflection. This causes changes in the clearance between the upper and lower molds, leading to variations in contact and surface pressure on the workpiece depending on the location. Additionally, the amount of deflection varies based on the structure of the mold. To reproduce the phenomena of actual press processing in press forming simulation, an analysis that considers mold deflection is necessary. We will introduce a case of forming simulation that takes mold deflection into account using the open-source structural analysis software FrontISTR for mold deformation and our solver ASU/P-form for weakly coupled analysis. ASU/ISTR is a general-purpose pre- and post-processing software developed by our company that is compatible with FrontISTR. By utilizing the deflection weakly coupled setting function of ASU/ISTR, we can quickly incorporate the analysis results from ASU/P-form and automatically set the conditions. Furthermore, it allows for easy analysis setup and execution on a Windows PC. FrontISTR excels in parallel computing, and there are no licensing costs even when using a PC with a high number of cores.

[Data] Analysis of Deformation and Stress Behavior in Die-Cast Products Molds

Technical data presentation! Problems that cannot be solved with general-purpose code using the shadow method can be analyzed stably.

In this document, we report a case study where the engine block was selected as a representative die-cast product, and the deformation and stress behavior after filling the mold with molten metal were analyzed using 'ASU/V-Struct'. We present the analysis model, which includes the shape of the engine block product being analyzed and the analysis conditions in the case study, as well as the thermal shrinkage analysis results of the ADC10 filled in the mold. This software is being continuously developed as a powerful tool to support designers in increasingly complex processing processes. [Data] ASU/V-STRUCT Rivet Analysis

Presentation of technical data! Introducing examples of software suitable for structural analysis considering deformation contact.

In this document, we introduce a case study of the contact analysis of three deformable bodies, specifically focusing on "crimping of hoses." In molding that combines multiple parts, it becomes necessary to calculate the contact between the deformable bodies in order to observe the deformations of the various parts. Our "ASU/V-Struct" is proficient in analyzing such deformable body contacts and can stably solve problems that do not converge with conventional static implicit methods. We have included an overview and analysis examples related to crimping, along with diagrams, making it easy to reference during the consideration of implementation. We encourage you to take a look. [Contents] ■ Introduction ■ Overview ■ Analysis Results ■ Conclusion *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to Vacuum Forming Analysis using ASU/V-Struct

Technical materials presented! We can support the vacuum forming site and mold design.

This document introduces the vacuum forming analysis using the heat transfer and structural coupling analysis software 'ASU/V-Struct'. This product can stably compute coupled analyses of structural analysis and heat conduction analysis that involve nonlinearities (material, geometry, contact), which are difficult to handle with general-purpose CAE software. It allows for the analysis of conditions during vacuum forming, enabling the investigation of molding conditions and defects in advance. Examples of analyses performed on vacuum-formed resin sheets are included, making it easy to reference when considering implementation. Please feel free to download and take a look. [Contents] ■ Introduction ■ Analysis Examples ■ Conclusion *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[CAE Solution Case] Visualization of Vacuum/Pressure Forming

Technical data presentation in progress! Achieving reduction of rework through ASU/V-Struct analysis.

We would like to introduce a CAE solution case using the structural analysis software 'ASU/V-Struct' for visualizing vacuum/pressure forming. In vacuum/pressure forming, heated resin sheets are pressed against molds for shaping. As a result, variations in the thickness of the molded products are likely to occur, and if the thickness becomes extremely thin, issues such as insufficient strength arise, leading to defective products. Additionally, defects such as wrinkles on the molded products can occur. If such problems can be identified and addressed in advance through analysis, it can reduce rework related to defects and help control labor costs. We provide detailed information about our products and services in a PDF document, so please take a look. 【Case Overview (Partial)】 ■Challenges - Unable to predict the thickness of the molded products - Want to understand how the material adheres to the mold - Defective products have emerged, and we want to investigate/improve *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Powder and Particle Analysis AI Software (AIPAS) bt-aipas-001

AI-based software for analyzing micro-particle and powder images "AIPAS"

Unlike traditional image processing based on binarization, an AI model trained on over 800,000 particles accurately detects the boundaries of the particles. Since the AI model is already equipped, users do not need to create training data or conduct training. It is software that can be immediately deployed in the field in an offline environment.

Image Analysis API 'iQ-Image Analysis API'

Custom solution for image evaluation for EOL testing

The iQ-Image Analysis API is a foundation for providing customized solutions tailored to the needs of EOL (End of Line) testing. This API can accommodate individual pass/fail thresholds for automating EOL testing. Since the API is based on C++, it can be implemented into existing software. It enables fast data analysis and transfer, making it particularly useful for evaluations on production lines. The iQ-Image Analysis API is used to create custom measurement modules that meet specific evaluation specifications (such as pass/fail thresholds). We collaborate with each customer to build an API that meets their requirements. By using available modules as the API foundation, we can add the necessary specifications to provide custom solutions.
