We have developed a device that enables automatic 3D bending processing of thermoplastic FRP pipes. The heated surface of the CFRTP is measured with a non-contact temperature sensor, which automatically initiates the bending process. Regarding MATSUMURA's processing [Pipe Bending Processing]

Currently, we can accommodate sizes from φ4.76 to φ80! We are collaborating with some partner manufacturers to provide this service.

Regarding MATSUMURA's processing, following terminal processing, we have bending processing. For items with many bending points, we use an NC pipe bender for processing. For items with fewer bends (1 or 2 bends), we create bending jigs in-house and perform the bending process (using air cylinders and hydraulic cylinders). The advantage of dedicated benders is that bending items with 1 or 2 bends using an NC pipe bender takes a considerable amount of time. While it is a very convenient machine for multi-point bending, it can be a waste of processing time for single bends when using an NC pipe bender.
