This is an example of our bridge breaker being introduced at a recycling plant due to frequent discharge troubles in the weighing tank during the summer. It seems that the flowability of the materials being accepted varies from day to day, and particularly, troubles occur from the rainy season to summer. As a bridge countermeasure for the large silo of limestone powder, 32 units of the standard type of bridge and rat hole breaker, "Bro-Disk," model BD-15, have been installed. First, 8 units were installed at a position 450mm diagonally above the silo wall along the discharge outlet. If the discharge of raw materials cannot be achieved through bridging, arching, or rat holes, are you not encouraging discharge by striking the container with a hammer or similar tool?
