This is a case study of a company that develops and manufactures propellers for ships. We provide details about the introduction of the COMPOSITES/PAM-RTM module and its effects. Initially, we managed with "experience and intuition." However, as orders increased and the size of the propellers we manufactured grew larger, it became difficult to cope with just experience and intuition. Therefore, we decided to introduce simulation software to replicate the infusion molding process within the computer, shifting our approach to conduct trial and error as much as possible within the computer.
