A cable gland is defined in the JIS standard for shipboard use as "a fitting used for electrical machinery and equipment installed inside the ship that requires waterproofing, specifically for the penetration of electrical wires (hereinafter referred to as penetration fittings)." It is used to create a waterproof structure at the entry and exit points of electrical wires. We offer various types that can accommodate wire diameters from thin to thick, and we can provide recommendations when using shipboard electrical wires or captive rubber cables. (Compatible wire diameters: Φ7mm to Φ64mm) For waterproof performance, by using putty or silicone materials in conjunction with the cable entry and exit points after installation, it can achieve IP-66 compliance.
