Exilva is microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) processed solely through mechanical defibrillation using raw materials from coniferous trees. It has larger fibers than cellulose nanofibers (CNF), but due to its branched fiber structure, it has a high specific surface area and can form a three-dimensional network in aqueous formulations, allowing for the incorporation of various properties into products.
