100% biomass additive! Cellulose fiber
Cellulose fiber "Exilva" imparts various properties such as strength, rheology control, sedimentation prevention, and water retention. Samples are available for provision.
(This is a product handled by the Life Science Division of Sanyo Trading Co., Ltd. For inquiries, please call 03-3518-1086.) Exilva is microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) processed solely through mechanical defibrillation using raw materials from coniferous trees. It has larger fibers than cellulose nanofibers (CNF), but due to its branched fiber structure, it has a high specific surface area and can form a three-dimensional network in aqueous formulations, allowing for the incorporation of various properties into products. It is also a material with potential as a reinforcing agent for resins and rubber. ■ Microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) produced by Borregaard in Norway ■ Exilva has an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons based on solid content, at a world-class level. Stable supply is possible. ■ Practical use overseas in water-based paints and adhesives, etc. ■ A renewable material for realizing a sustainable society. An additive for environmentally friendly products. 【Functionality】 ■ Rheology control ■ Strength enhancement: improved film strength, adhesive strength, elasticity, etc. ■ Dispersion stabilization: prevention of sedimentation of fillers, etc. ■ Water retention enhancement, among others *Samples are available for consideration.
