Ultra-high precision core pins using advanced technology.

Our ferrules for optical communication connectors and capillaries for semiconductor bonding are produced using ceramic injection molding. To enhance dimensional accuracy, we have developed and manufactured high-precision core pins in-house for use in the injection molding process. With this technology, we manufacture and supply core pins and stepped pins tailored to our customers' needs. We use several types of diamond wheels with different grits on ultra-fine particle cemented carbide and finish them with high precision using in-feed plunge machining.

[Examples of Production by Purpose] Core Pin (Tip 0.4×0.4)

The tip is only 0.4 millimeters square in size! It has a stepped precision of ±0.003.

This is an example of a part called a core pin used in the molding of connectors. During the molding of connector components, this pin is inserted into the mold for shaping, and even such fine pins are designed with materials that can withstand repeated use. This core pin is actually used at a length of about 6 millimeters from the tip, and the root's shape is designed to accommodate the profile processing grinding wheel. By using a smaller diameter grinding wheel, the R size of the shape can be minimized, allowing for the precision machining of such fine pins through grinding.
