The CZ370x is a magnetic coreless current sensor that incorporates Hall elements. Due to the use of high-sensitivity Hall elements, it can measure a wide range of currents that typical coreless current sensors cannot achieve. It can handle continuous currents of up to 60Arms and accurately detect currents up to ±180A. Therefore, it contributes to "increased output capacity." This significantly reduces heat generation during current application compared to shunt resistors, and eliminates the need for a primary side power supply or amplifier for insulation, allowing overcurrent detection with just the IC.
