The "Heatless Air Dryer" uses activated alumina as a desiccant, utilizing its excellent moisture adsorption and regeneration properties to remove moisture from compressed air. Since it is heatless (does not use a heater), there is no risk of fire or ignition within the piping. The downflow design minimizes the fluidization and pulverization of the desiccant, significantly extending its lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.
