It is a relative concentration meter based on the light scattering method. Relative concentration requires the determination of a mass concentration conversion coefficient (K value) based on the filtration collection method, and it needs to be corrected to mass concentration. However, the LD-5D allows for easy conversion and display of measurement values to mass concentration by pre-inputting the mass concentration conversion coefficient. Additionally, it has similar characteristics to existing dust meters (laser light source type), allowing the use of previously established mass concentration conversion coefficients in the same work environment.
