Available for use with commercially available SI-type SMF! A technology that locally diffuses heat in the core of optical fibers.
"TEC Fiber" is a common name for Thermally-diffused Expanded Core Fiber. It locally expands the mode field diameter by 2 to 3 times (changing the refractive index distribution), resulting in a smaller NA (numerical aperture).
