Introduction to Spectrum Products: Digitizer, AWG, DI/O

By utilizing it effectively, a large amount of information can be processed in real-time, enabling the streamlining of operations. Introduction of the Digitizer M5i series.

The "Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG)" is a device that generates analog signals. The "digitizer" samples waveforms, digitizes them, and stores them in memory, while the "AWG" stores waveform data in its internal memory. The selected waveform data is sent to a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), where it undergoes appropriate filtering and signal processing before being output as an analog waveform. 【Functions and Features】 ■ Single Shot ■ Repeat Output ■ Single Restart Replay Mode ■ FIFO Replay Mode ■ Multiple Replay Mode ■ Gated Replay Mode ■ Sequence Replay Mode *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of SPECTRUM's products for Quantum Computing

By effectively utilizing the AWG and digitizer, various quantum operations for quantum computing can be optimized.

We believe that SPECTRUM's AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator) and digitizer can contribute to the field of Quantum Computing (including Superconductors, Silicon, Neutral atoms, Trapped ions, Cavity QED, Diamond NV centers, Photonics methods, etc.). - The signals generated by the AWG can be directly applied to qubits or used to control lasers via AOM, AOD, and EOM, enabling quantum operations within the qubit and the reading of the qubit's state. With the DDS (Digital Data Synthesis) function, devices can be controlled quickly with simple commands, allowing for fast and complex quantum operations. Additionally, using the digitizer, signals from the qubit can be collected quickly and continuously, either directly or converted from optical signals to electrical signals through a photoelectric conversion device if the signals are optical. - The AWG and digitizer are compact and have diverse functionalities, making them useful not only in the basic research phase but also in the development phase. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Application Example] Achieving the movement of a single atom

Using AWG cards! Example from the Department of Physics at the University of San Diego, USA. Comprehensive catalog and case materials are being offered.

This presentation will introduce an application example of achieving the movement of single atoms using an AWG card at the Department of Physics, University of California, San Diego. There are challenges in investigating the quantum behavior of electrons within an ion lattice, and the solution being developed in the department involves constructing a slightly larger model using observable components of atoms moving within an optical lattice. The challenge of this solution is to cool the atoms to near absolute zero and to move them to a triangular lattice structure using laser light pulses. The laser light pulses must have virtually no noise in the control signals of the laser beams and need to be ultra-high precision. To achieve this, the Spectrum M4i.6622-x8 arbitrary waveform generator is used. [Overview] ■ Achieving extraordinary precision in research on the second quantum revolution ■ Precisely controlling atoms ■ Precision of the AWG *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
