Easy-to-understand brazing series: Atmospheric brazing and furnace brazing

Brazing requires the removal of the oxide film! The method for removing the oxide film differs between the atmosphere and the furnace.

From the easy-to-understand "Brazing" series, we introduce "Atmospheric Brazing and Furnace Brazing." Brazing first requires the removal of the oxide film. By removing the oxide film, the "braze" can wet properly. "Atmospheric brazing" requires flux, which acts to remove the oxide film on the surface of the base material. "Furnace brazing" removes the oxide film on the surface of the base material by creating an atmosphere of hydrogen gas or vacuum inside a furnace that blocks the atmosphere. 【Features of Atmospheric Brazing】 ■ Easy to perform while visually monitoring ■ Localized heating is possible ■ Can perform insert brazing and surface brazing ■ Suitable for small-scale production *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Easy-to-understand brazing series: How to braze stainless steel

For brazing stainless steel, we recommend furnace brazing.

This is an explanation about "Brazing Stainless Steel" from the easy-to-understand "Brazing" series. Stainless steel is a material with excellent corrosion resistance, and its brazing requires the removal of the oxide film. Our company recommends furnace brazing. ◆ Features of Furnace Brazing - The finish is shiny - Simultaneous multi-point joining is possible - Temperature management is easy - Minimal distortion due to overall heating - Easy to automate We will provide a clear explanation with diagrams in a PDF document.

Brazing of stainless steel materials in a furnace using a continuous hydrogen furnace.

Achieve low-cost joining of stainless steel components with complex shapes! We process with sufficient joining strength and quality, and with a short delivery time! We also accept solid solution heat treatment!

In brazing stainless steel materials using a continuous hydrogen furnace, a filler metal with a lower melting point than the base material can be directly applied to the joint before heating. Therefore, even complex shapes and thin materials that are difficult to process with welding and other joining methods can be joined by adopting brazing. Solution heat treatment is also available. 【Features】 ● Joining of complex-shaped metals ● High joint strength ● Quality control certified by ISO9001 ● Test processing available ● Selection of filler metals 【Types of processing possible with this equipment】 ■ Nickel brazing of stainless steel base materials ■ Copper brazing of stainless steel base materials ■ Bronze brazing of stainless steel base materials ■ Other brazing of stainless steel base materials ■ Solution heat treatment of austenitic stainless steel *For more details, please download the PDF data or feel free to contact us.

Soldering of iron and copper-based metals in a continuous non-oxidizing furnace.

Beautiful brazing of iron and copper-based metals! Achieve a finish with enhanced functionality and durability! Mass production is possible with furnace brazing.

In a continuous non-oxidizing furnace, brazing can primarily be performed on iron-based and copper-based base materials. Suitable filler materials are selected for the base materials to achieve a more beautiful and high-strength finish. When brazing in the furnace, reducing gases such as "hydrogen gas" and "DX gas," as well as inert gases like "nitrogen gas" and "argon gas," are used as the atmosphere inside the furnace. When iron oxide is heated in DX gas, hydrogen and carbon monoxide react with the iron oxide, resulting in a reduction reaction. Hydrogen and carbon monoxide are taken from the iron oxide, turning into water and carbon dioxide, and the iron oxide is reduced back to iron. (See image) By performing heat treatment in a sufficient reducing atmosphere, not only does wettability improve, allowing for good brazing and other processing, but it also prevents discoloration due to oxidation, resulting in shiny products. (See image) 【Types of processing possible with this equipment】 ■ Copper brazing of iron-based base materials ■ Phosphor bronze brazing of copper-based and iron-based base materials ■ Bronze brazing of copper-based and iron-based base materials ■ Silver brazing of copper-based base materials ■ Phosphor copper brazing of copper-based base materials ■ Bright annealing of iron and copper ■ Other brazing of iron-based and copper-based base materials *For more details, please download the PDF data or feel free to contact us.
