[Case Study] Ideas to Enhance Refrigeration and Insulation Effects

A case where the heat insulation effect of aluminum was demonstrated, successfully preventing temperature deviations.

We would like to introduce a case study where the special sheet "Alpuchisafe," coated with aluminum, was adopted. In the transportation using Styrofoam and cold packs, there was a problem of temperature deviation occurring during the summer when the outside temperature is high. Particularly, since the amount of Styrofoam and cargo is fixed, we could not take measures to increase the cold packs. Therefore, we set our product inside the Styrofoam, wrapping the cold packs and cargo, which successfully demonstrated the heat insulation effect of aluminum and prevented temperature deviation. We would like to introduce an example of improving heat stress measures by placing a heat-insulating sheet (non-combustible type) between high-temperature objects and workers to protect workers from radiant heat. There was a challenge: "We want to protect workers in workplaces handling high-temperature objects from heat and implement heat stress measures." In response, a heat-insulating sheet was installed like a partition between high-temperature objects and workers. Heat Shield Control Panel Temperature Rise Prevention Improvement Case Study

Examples of protecting control panels from radiant heat.

We would like to introduce a case where we protected a control panel from radiant heat and prevented temperature rise. There was a challenge where "the control panel located near the furnace was constantly exposed to radiant heat from the furnace, causing the control panel inverter to burn out. We wanted to quickly implement measures to prevent recurrence." As a solution, we applied high-temperature thermal insulation sheets to the target control panel. (The installation was carried out by the customer.) As a result, the surface temperature of the control panel decreased from 70°C to 30°C, a reduction of 40°C. This measure prevented the recurrence of damage to the control panel and was applied to all similar locations. Similar cases exist for outdoor distribution boards that are exposed to direct sunlight in summer, where temperature rises can also be addressed with similar solutions.
