In the case of laser or ultrasonic types, there was a risk of erroneous measurements due to reflections from dust and steam, and the influence of dust and steam could cause sound waves to attenuate, leading to unstable measurements. We would like to introduce a case where the microwave level meter 'MWLM-PR26H7S' handled by Matsushima Majatech was introduced to a biomass plant chicken manure silo. With the existing level meter, there was constant accumulation of deposits even with a cleaning frequency of once a month. However, after switching to this product, the inside of the antenna after three months showed almost no deposits even without cleaning. By utilizing a PTFE-coated antenna, this product reduces deposits and takes advantage of water droplets from condensation to wash away deposits, thereby reducing cleaning work. ■Challenges of Thickener Equipment We often hear from customers that they want to monitor the concentrated sludge that accumulates at the bottom of the thickener. However, since the sludge accumulates in the liquid, they are troubled by not knowing how to monitor it or what kind of measuring instruments to use... If the accumulated sludge cannot be measured... ● The quality of the treated water deteriorates, making reuse difficult. ● The rake experiences increased load and wears out. We want to find a way to solve these challenges! The solution to these concerns is the "sounding type level gauge (weight type level gauge)." The sounding level gauge (Sounding M's) suspends a detection weight at the end of a wire, and by moving the weight up and down, it detects the distance to the accumulated sludge.
