Carbon Nanotube (CNT)
This is an innovative technology that has made it possible to achieve high-concentration mixing and dispersion of resin (plastic) materials and carbon nanotubes (CNT) for the first time.
◆ Features - Realization of conductive resin (plastic) ⇒ The molding material and fiberization have been achieved for the first time. It is possible to support metal materials (around groups 6 to 13 of the periodic table, several types are acceptable) within carbon nanotubes (CNT), allowing for control of conductivity, etc. - Since it is a conductive material, plating becomes possible. - Strength is significantly increased, allowing for thinner designs and application to structural materials. The mixing ratio of carbon nanotubes (CNT) can be adjusted up to about 30% w/w. No additives. Typically below 5% w/w. - Realization of high thermal conductivity (plastic) ⇒ The molding material and fiberization have been achieved for the first time. High cooling and high heating effects. Thermal conductivity: Copper (Cu) 400 W/(m·K), Diamond 22000 W/(m·K), CNT 4000 W/(m·K) ※ In a single layer, depending on direction, it exceeds diamond. ※ 10 to 50 times the thermal conductivity of copper. - Realization of high current capacity wiring materials. The current capacity of CNT is 2000 times that of copper. While its electrical conductivity is lower than that of copper, it is possible to support metal materials, making control of conductivity easy. - Electromagnetic wave absorption material. Electromagnetic waves are electrified. They are grounded.
