Booklet: Rediscovering the Charm of Noise-Cutting Transformers! Vol. 1

Extremely wideband among noise suppression elements! Lightning surge voltage can also be significantly attenuated!

This booklet introduces the wideband attenuation characteristics of the "Noise Cut Transformer," which can attenuate not only noise but also "lightning surges." The attenuation range for line noise that can be prevented covers normal mode (between lines) from 10 kHz to 1 GHz, and common mode from DC to 1 GHz. In comparison, the attenuation range of typical LC filters for power supplies is from 100 kHz to 30 MHz, making the bandwidth of attenuation extremely wide among noise prevention devices. Discovering the Charm of Noise-Cutting Transformers Again! Vol. 2

When used indoors where impulse coordination is maintained, it can withstand induced lightning!

This booklet introduces impulse voltage as defined by the overvoltage category/JIS. The standard impulse withstand voltage for the "Noise Cut Transformer" is 5kV (5000V). Up to an impulse voltage of 5kV (standard shock voltage of 1.2/50μs as specified in JEC-0202), it can protect equipment from induced lightning without insulation breakdown. If you have concerns about impulse coordination or are using it in outdoor panels, please consider the NCT-K type or I4 type with an impulse withstand voltage of 10kV, or the NCT-K type and P type with an impulse withstand voltage of 30kV. [Case Study] Video Production Company M

Resolving the blackout of large LED screens! To provide customers with beautiful visuals!

The video production for a concert with an audience of 10,000 will be handled by Company M. During the preliminary rehearsal, the LED screens displayed images without any issues; however, during the actual concert, a part of the large LED screen suddenly blacked out. Our company conducted an immunity test using a noise simulator. Based on the test results, we determined that the cause of the trouble was likely high-frequency noise. Based on the test results, we recommended that Company M install a "Noise Cut Transformer" on the power line of the video controller. Since then, Company M has ensured that this product is installed during concerts, and since then, the phenomenon of the LED screen blacking out has not occurred. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: A part of the LED screen blacked out ■ Product Introduced: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Effect: The phenomenon of the LED screen blacking out has not occurred *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Automatic Welding Machine Manufacturer D Company

Why isn't it resolved even though we are using countermeasure products? Here are examples of noise countermeasures for automatic welding machines!

Company D, headquartered in Tokyo, had been implementing noise countermeasures for high-frequency noise generated within their steelworks by installing noise filters on the power lines of their equipment and attaching ferrite cores to the power cables. However, the issues were resolved only in one or two locations, while many other areas remained problematic. In environments where various frequencies of noise coexist, it is believed that countermeasure products targeting only specific frequencies may not yield sufficient results. Therefore, we proposed the introduction of the "Noise Cut Transformer," which can reliably eliminate a wide range of frequencies. As a result, the issues were successfully resolved, and the automatic welding machine began to operate without problems. [Case Overview] ■ Problem: Despite using countermeasure products for noise control, issues remain unresolved. ■ Product Introduced: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Effect: Issues were successfully resolved, and the automatic welding machine operates without problems. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
