The vacuum double glass tube, which collects heat through the power of vacuum and CPC reflectors, enables high-temperature solar heat of up to 200°C even in mid-winter.
The inner surface of the vacuum double glass tube is coated with a selective absorption film that converts sunlight into heat, and when sunlight is irradiated onto the glass tube, the temperature inside the tube rises to about 200°C. Because the gap between the double glass tubes is a vacuum, the interior of the glass tube is unaffected by the outside temperature, allowing it to collect high temperatures even in winter. Furthermore, a CPC reflector that concentrates sunlight is attached to the back of the glass tube, maximizing the amount of heat collected per installation area. There are flat plate, heat pipe vacuum tube, and U-pipe vacuum tube types of solar thermal collectors, but the "Solaris," which has a CPC reflector and uses the U-pipe vacuum tube type, has the highest heat collection amount per installation area. Various solutions are built using this solar thermal collector as a heat source. One use is as a supplementary heat source for hot water boilers in facilities with high hot water demand, such as nursing homes, hospitals, and public baths. Another use is as central air conditioning for office buildings, large commercial facilities, and schools. Solar heat is also utilized in air conditioning systems for cooling, heating, and dehumidification. To prevent global warming, a society that minimizes the use of fossil fuels is necessary, and solar thermal utilization systems can significantly contribute to the protection of the global environment.
