We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of an ozone generator at Ogoto Onsen Biwako Ryokusuitei. In recent years, the rising anti-smoking sentiment has led to an increasing demand for non-smoking rooms. After guests smoked in the rooms, we had been ventilating thoroughly and spraying deodorizing spray, but it was insufficient and led to complaints, which was a source of concern. Therefore, we introduced the "Ozone Cluster 1400" and conducted a trial run in the chairman's office, which is frequented by heavy smokers. As a result, just one application of ozone completely dispersed the cigarette odor. "This is the real deal!" we thought, and we immediately began utilizing it for cleaning guest rooms. The main challenges were addressing five types of odors: perfume, food smells, medication and ointment smells, sweat, and cigarette smoke. Initially, we introduced "Ozone Clear 2" from Ozone Mart, but we have now additionally implemented the "Ozone Cluster 1400." As a result, the deodorization process for guest rooms that took 20 minutes with "Ozone Clear 2" has been completed in just 10 minutes.
