Applicable to other valves as well! Introducing the operating principle of the latch mechanism.
I will explain the operating principle of the latch mechanism using the pinch valve "EL series" as an example.
The latch mechanism transitions between open and closed states based on the variations in the strength of three elements: the suction force of the solenoid, the magnetic force of the permanent magnet, and the stroke of the movable iron core (plunger), balanced with a spring.
When current flows through the coil, the plunger moves towards the pole piece. Therefore, even if the magnetic force from the coil disappears, the suction force overcomes the spring.
This energy-efficient latch mechanism, which is less affected by temperature, can also be applied to diaphragm valves "LV series," pinch valves "PL series," and other valves. For more details, please contact our staff.
