Information on "Powder Coating"
A painting method widely used for products that require weather resistance and rust prevention, as well as for coatings in harsh usage conditions.
At Sirius Co., Ltd., we offer a painting method called "powder coating," which forms a coating film by directly spraying powdered pigments onto substrates such as metal. The grounded substrate (metal) is originally positively charged, and negatively charged pigments (powder) are sprayed onto it, adhering to the surface. Furthermore, by heating (curing) in an oven afterward, a uniform and durable coating film is formed. Additionally, the heating (curing) process causes the powder to melt, and through a chemical reaction, high molecular polymers form a network structure, making the substrate less exposed to air and exhibiting excellent rust resistance. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*
