A high-precision all-day solar radiation meter based on the measurement principle of thermopile sensors. This measurement principle allows for the acquisition of μV measurement signals without external power supply. When using DC 0/4–20 mA, DC 0–1/5/10 V, or RS485 Modbus-RTU output, external power supply is required. These outputs are always related to W/m², allowing for the correlation with solar radiation on the surface of solar panels. The RS485 Modbus-RTU output model is equipped with internal diagnostic sensors. It monitors the operational status of the solar radiation meter, enabling the prediction of maintenance needs in advance, thus ensuring reliable measurements at all times. This model allows for changes in settings such as analog output, real-time monitoring of measurement values, and file saving through the PC application software DATAsense. All SenSeka (formerly Delta Ohm) solar radiation meters are designed so that the electrical systems are completely insulated from the housing, allowing installation on any surface, including metal, without additional insulation treatment for the solar radiation meter.

Capture solar energy incident on the surface and output a current proportional to the amount of sunlight!

The "CMP-3B" is a sensor that measures global solar radiation (300–2800nm). It complies with the specifications of ISO 9060's WMO Second Class. It captures solar energy incident on the Earth's surface due to direct sunlight and scattering from the sky, outputting a current proportional to the solar radiation (W/m²). Additionally, it uses a thermopile with a black coating on the sensing element, which allows for a wider measurement wavelength range compared to solarimeters that use silicon photodiodes. Furthermore, the sensing element is protected by a glass dome with excellent spectral transmission characteristics against wind and rain. This is a solar radiation meter classified as a Secondary Standard according to ISO 9060. It is a high-precision solar radiation meter designed for precise measurements, such as investigations into global warming.

This device measures the total solar radiation entering from the sky and is a high-precision all-weather solarimeter that complies with the Secondary Standard as defined by ISO 9060. The sensing element uses a thermopile with uniform spectral sensitivity across the entire wavelength range of solar radiation and stable performance. The MS-802 model features a new thermopile that has approximately doubled the response speed compared to the previous model (MS-801), and the temperature characteristics have been improved by about 40% through changes in the thermal structure. Additionally, the sensing surface is protected from variations in factors other than solar radiation (such as wind) by being covered with a double dome. The MS-802F has a fan installed at the bottom of the sensing surface holder, which blows air to the outside of the glass dome, preventing the accumulation of frost, snow, dust, and other debris.

You can take the certification exam at the Japan Meteorological Agency's Meteorological Instrument Calibration Center. It captures and observes direct solar radiation and scattered solar radiation in the shortwave radiation band (wavelength 0.3 to 2.8 μm) incident on a horizontal plane using a 2π solid angle. It has a hermetically sealed and waterproof structure suitable for continuous observation. It comes with a level and adjustment screws, making horizontal installation easy.

It is a precision all-weather solar radiation meter that measures high-accuracy light levels.

It is possible to measure unidirectional radiation to and from the Earth, which is different from the long-wave radiation in terms of balance.
