[Reefer Container Installation Case] Installation Over Electric Wires

Work with a 25-ton crane! An example of installation on the premises of a sake brewery adjacent to a residential area.

We would like to introduce a case where a reefer container was installed over power lines at a sake brewery located in a residential area. The brewery already owns seven reefer containers, but due to an increase in production each year, they consulted with EFI about adding two more. Since there are many houses nearby and noise would be a concern, they ordered a quiet type of reefer container. Typically, a unic crane truck is used for the installation of 20ft containers, but there were issues such as the presence of power lines requiring height for the container installation and difficulty in working with a unic crane truck. Therefore, a 25-ton crane truck was used for the operation. [Case Overview] - Container: 2 used 20ft reefer containers (quiet type) * Not for maritime transport, but for stationary use - Cargo: Storage of newly manufactured sake - Location: Within the premises of a sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture - Operating temperature: +5°C (temperature range for general-purpose quiet type is -5 to +15°C) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Precautions for Handling Refrigerated Containers

Pre-cooling of cargo and containers before loading! Introduction of applicable models and loading methods.

Refrigerated and frozen containers (reefer containers) are designed for safe and long-term use. Please read the "operating instructions" of the refrigeration unit carefully and use it correctly. It is very important to pre-cool the cargo. The refrigerated container is a device that "maintains" the temperature of the cargo at the time of loading. If you load cargo with a temperature difference from the set temperature, it will take time to reach the set temperature, which may lead to a deterioration in the quality of the cargo, so please be cautious. *For detailed information, please refer to the related links. Delivery attendance for the reefer container.

Temperature settings can be adjusted from -40℃ to +30℃! Introducing Magnum Plus delivery on the blog.

On March 17th, I went to oversee the delivery of a reefer container. I requested the usual partner company to handle the transportation and installation of the container. The installation site was not flat, and the height of the paving stones varied significantly. However, this is the work of professionals. They adjusted the level subtly with thin steel plates, completing the installation in about 30 minutes per unit. (If the balance is off, the door won't open.) *For more details, you can view the related links on the blog. Please feel free to contact us for more information.*

Test operation of a minus 70℃ reefer container.

Introducing the trial operation of a super low-temperature 20FT reefer container that can handle temperatures down to -70℃!

On April 8th, I attended the trial operation of the Super Freezer manufactured by Thermo King, which we delivered to a certain location. It is a 20FT reefer container capable of reaching temperatures as low as -70°C. Given the season, the beautiful cherry blossoms and canola flowers created a serene landscape, and the sight of the refrigerated container, which incorporates the latest technology developed and improved for the transportation of COVID-19 vaccines, stood in striking contrast. It was a deeply moving experience. *For more details, please refer to the related links on the blog. Feel free to contact us for more information.*
