Blow-off Roof Renovation Method "SOSEI Method" *Materials with test data provided
[For factories and warehouses] Waterproof, reinforced, and insulated with a three-layer special resin. Ideal for the renovation of slate roofs. Achieved a track record of 1 million m² nationwide for major manufacturing industries and manufacturers.
The "SOSEI Method" is a unique technique developed by Toyoko that allows for waterproofing, reinforcement, and insulation to be performed in a single application, making it suitable for the renovation of slate roofs on factories and similar structures. The application is performed from the roof, using a quick-curing resin that ensures safety and enables large-scale work to be completed in a short period without halting operations. Additionally, the resin layer, which is 10mm thick, seamlessly integrates the surface. It can also seal joints (the overlaps of the slate) and hook bolts, preventing rain and wind from entering, thus helping to prevent leaks and detachment. With a roof load of 2.3 to 2.5 kg/m2, it is lighter compared to steel plate covering methods, which reduces the burden on the building structure and can lower reinforcement costs when conducting seismic work. 【Features】 ■ Excellent insulation properties that suppress attic temperature increases even on extremely hot days (can reduce by over 10°C) ■ Proven track record of no roof damage during Typhoon No. 24 in 2018 and Typhoon No. 19 in 2019 ■ Contributes to reducing the risk of roof material detachment into the building ■ Peace of mind with leak compensation for up to 10 years (for slate roofs) *You can view documents containing test data by downloading the PDF.
