To improve service quality through the efficiency of picking and inbound/outbound inspection tasks in the warehouse, as well as to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce opportunity loss, they have implemented business improvements utilizing RFID technology. Challenges Before Implementation: - Efficiency and Standardization of Picking: For cables with similar shapes, inexperienced personnel may take time to make judgments, sometimes leading to picking errors. - Efficiency of Inbound/Outbound Inspection: During outbound inspections, it is essential to open equipment boxes to check their contents. For cables, inspections are conducted manually in hundreds, resulting in a high workload. Similarly, the inspection during inbound processes also has a high workload, causing delays in discovering losses due to the inability to perform immediate inspections. - Improvement of Inventory Accuracy: Due to the inability to accurately grasp the situation of losses or items waiting to be received, there are instances where outbound operations cannot be performed due to inventory shortages. Even when physical inventory exists, outbound instructions cannot be issued if there is no theoretical inventory.
