"Eco Magic Heat Resistant Type" is a hook and loop fastener that has changed almost all of its threads in the hook, loop, and base fabric sections to PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), providing high heat resistance. Even after exposure to high-temperature environments (250°C for 24 hours), it retains over 80% of its fastening strength (shear strength). Since it is primarily made of PPS fibers and does not use a backing coating agent, it is self-extinguishing and passes automotive flammability tests (FMVSS-302 horizontal method) and aircraft flammability tests (EAR. The "Magic Tape" handled by Morito Japan is a product that combines hooks with a special shape and loops arranged in high density for use. Generally, hook-and-loop fasteners engage simply by the hooks and loops touching each other, but this product does not engage just by the hooks lightly touching the loop surface.
