【Legionella Bacteria Case】Water Purification Device 'Mecasera Device'
"Demonstration unit rental available, case study collection presented" Introduction to Legionella bacteria disinfection tests using Mekacera water.
The "Legionella bacteria" are gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria that inhabit soil and freshwater in the natural environment, possessing a single flagellum at one end of the cell body, which allows for motility. We adjusted Legionella pneumophila type 1 to 10,000 CFU/100mL and conducted a "Legionella bacteria disinfection test using Mekacera water" as experimental material. As a result, when Mekacera balls were applied in the presence of residual chlorine at concentrations of 0.1ppm to 0.2ppm, the number of Legionella bacteria gradually decreased, and no viable bacteria were detected after 24 hours.
